    • Main Administration Building

The impressive front of the Australian College of Kuwait is the entrance to the Main Administration building. In addition to housing all the executive and administration staff, this building also functions as a key centre for teaching and learning at ACK. In particular, this building contains: 

• A 200-seat Auditorium, used for assemblies, seminars and musical events;
• The main E-Learning Centre for students to access databases and on-line resources for their courses;
• A number of computer laboratories with up-to-date computers and specialized software;
• A multi-media room equipped with a range of technologies to facilitate modern approaches to learning;
• Classrooms all fitted with digital projectors and computers
• The cafeteria, which also provides space for students to interact on a social level;
• A Medical Centre available for staff and students;
• Prayer Rooms.

    • Engineering Building and Workshop

The Australian College of Kuwait Engineering Building is a purpose-built Engineering Training Facility that includes the following facilities:  

• Engineering classrooms, each with computer network access, digital projectors and laptop computers 

• Fully equipped Engineering Workshop which includes the following facilities: 

• Twelve (12) fully-equipped welding bays
• Lathes
• Milling Machines
• Drills and presses
• Metal folding machines
• A wide range of hand tools and instruments 

    • Aviation Complex

The Aviation Complex at ACK was opened in February 2006 and provides a unique training facility for aerospace, aviation and general engineering courses. The Complex includes the following:  

• A hangar that houses a ground-based Boeing 737 aircraft 

• A modern training workshop with the following state-of-the-art facilities: 

• Pneumatic Test Bench
• Hydraulic Test Bench
• Fuel Solvent Test Bench
• Avionics Test Facility
• Aircraft spare parts
• Specialized aerospace maintenance tools
• A computer laboratory fitted with computers and specialized engineering software
• Classrooms fitted with digital projectors and laptop computers 

    • E-Learning Centres

The E-Learning Centres of ACK provides students with access to a large amount of information to enrich research and study. Through electronic communication links, ACK students are able to access a world of information including journal article databases, statistical sources, text collections, reference materials, maps, E-books (through the extensive ’ebrary’ resource) and recommended web sites. Through the E-Learning Centre, ACK students have access to the complete E-resources of the University of Tasmania, the Tasmanian Polytechnic, the WA Central TAFE Institute in Western Australia and the Kangan Batman Institute of TAFE in Victoria.  

    • Marine Simulation Training Centre

Since 2008, the Australian College of Kuwait has hosted a state-of-the-art marine simulation facility utilizing Transas and Lockheed Martin simulation systems. The Marine Simulation Training Centre (MSTC) has comprised the following:  

• The Vessel Operating Simulator (VOS) subsystem, which includes: 

• The Core system;
• 3 bridges (Trainee stations);
• 2 instructor stations; and
• 1 debrief station. 

• The Vessel Management Information System (VMIS) subsystem, which includes: 

• 6 Core systems;
• 6 Student stations;
• 2 Instructor stations;
• 1 debrief station;
• 12 Sensors sets; and
• Voice communications. 

• The MTSC Network, which includes: 

• Network Local Area Network (LAN);
• Wide Area Network (WAN)
• WAN interface; and
• Virtual Private Network (VPN) access.

Diploma and Foundation applications closed 28 September 2011. Applications for Semester 2 will reopen in December.

ACK signs sponsorship agreement of 'Proud To Be Kuwaiti'.

The Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) has announced sponsoring the 4th Proud To Be Kuwaiti Forum, that is held under the patronage of HE Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al Mohammad, during the period March 15-20.
