Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Mechanical)
The BEng Tech
(Mechanical) is a professional baccalaureate awarded
by the University of Tasmania in Australia, and is recognized by the Private Universities
Council of Kuwait.
The ACK BEng Tech
(Mechanical) is a
two year fulltime course for students who have completed an ACK Diploma of Engineering
(Mechanical) or ACK Diploma of Engineering - Technical (Mechanical) and who have
passed the KMQ152 Calculus and Applications 1A pre-requisite unit. This specialization
follows the same syllabus and standard as the degree delivered at the University
of Tasmania.

is a professional baccalaureate awarded by the University of Tasmania in Australia,
and is recognized by the Private Universities Council of Kuwait.
The ACK BEng Tech (Civil) is a two year fulltime course for students who have completed
an ACK Diploma of Engineering (Civil/Structural) or ACK Diploma of Civil and Structural
Engineering and who have passed the KMQ152 Calculus and Applications 1A pre-requisite
unit.
This specialization follows the same syllabus and standard as the degrees delivered
at the University of Tasmania.
Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) graduates from ACK are qualified to work

Technology(Petroleum)
Entry requirements
Applicants must have completed an ACK Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical, Civil,
Oil &Gas, or Electronics & Controls) with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of
2.67 or higher. Applicants for BEng Tech (Mechanical and Civil) must also have passed
the unit KMQ152 Calculus and Applications 1A, which is one of the units of the course,
but must be completed before acceptance into the course. Students with the diploma
and a pass in KMQ152 who have a GPA of 2.4 or better may be accepted into the degree
program with a conditional enrolment which will be confirmed on satisfactory completion
of the first semester.
Bachelor
of Engineering Technology (Mechanical)
Holders of a diploma from the College of Technological Studies of PAAET can enroll
at ACK with advanced standing and be admitted to the engineering degree program
at ACK.
A requirement of this pathway is that students must meet ACK English Language admission standard and complete an Engineering Diploma at ACK. Depending on the PAAET diploma completed (as outlined in the flyer) the ACK Diploma will take between two and four semesters full time study to complete.
