|The Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) was among those honored by the Central Blood Bank of Kuwait in a World Blood Donor Day 2019 ceremony held on Saturday June 15th. The ceremony was held in order to honor those whose efforts made a positive impact for blood donations in Kuwait.
ACK was honored because of its accomplishments during the blood drive event hosted and it was the only educational institution honored during the ceremony.
ACK was represented by Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Rifai, Health & Safety Senior Manager, and Ms. Mariam Al-Maraghi, Health & Safety Business Development Manager.
“Being a humanitarian is a high achievement that some people have managed to attain, and I believe our students managed to attain it during this event” said Mr. Al-Rifai. “Here we can see the results of the principles we tried to instill in these generations that are full of humanity. I would like to say thank you to each student who helped in the Blood Donation Drive, and that we are honored that you volunteered in our event.”
ACK would like to thank the Central Blood Bank of Kuwait for its recognition, and to also thank all those who volunteered to help for making our blood drive possible.
