During the month of August 2021, students from ACK took part in an internship opportunity hosted by the Gulf Bank, Kuwait. The internship gave the students the opportunity to work at the Gulf Bank with an exceptional chance to select the department they want to work in.
The duration of the designed program is 50 working hours, aiming to provide interns with valuable work experience and helping them build all essential skills required for career success in their workplace. Upon training completion, interns received a certificate of achievement and a letter of completion issued by the Gulf Bank.
In order to celebrate the success, the Gulf Bank organized and hosted a farewell ceremony to honor participants in the internship and recognized everyone’s efforts. Representing ACK, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Niby, Dean of the School of Engineering at ACK, and Ms. Joumana Tasse, Coordinator – Industrial Outreach at ACK, attended the event. From his end, Dr. Abdul Niby delivered a speech thanking the Gulf Bank for their ongoing support and continuous student empowerment strategies, following to his speech, Dr. Abdul Niby was awarded with a token of appreciation for the collaboration.
ACK would like to thank the Gulf Bank for giving its students such an invaluable opportunity, as ACK continues searching for such opportunities for students in different majors in order for them to take part in the real world and train them to have better develop their professional skills.
