|ACK kicked – off its Industrial Partnership Initiative by hosting a “Microsoft Teams” training to staff members of Gulf Bank on campus while conforming to the safety measures imposed by the Health and Safety Department of ACK.
The Initiative is in line with the Strategic and Social Responsibilities directions of ACK and targets to establish a partnership and collaboration with the local industries to bring wealth of financial and non-financial benefits to both parties and to enhance innovation and economic growth. In addition, it strives to support and stimulate the development of university-industry interaction, and collaborative innovation and encourage on fostering university-industry interaction.
ACK is committed to teaching, learning, research, and community service. Therefore, the initiative involves providing technical support, promoting innovation and exchanging knowledge through ACK’s three Schools: Aviation, Business, and Engineering. ACK specialists can design and deliver integrated agile solutions using the latest technologies and development tools to suit any business need. “This initiative is an opportunity for our members of faculty and students to engage in solving real world problems, and exchange knowledge with the industry. It would also serve as part of the Australian College of Kuwait’s Social Responsibility” said, Professor Hussein Abdullah – Vice President of Academic Affairs at ACK.
