|ACK established the “ACK Award”, a volunteering program where students work with staff mentors in setting personal goals and then recording achievements over a 2-semester period.
The program aims to provide opportunities in extending students learning and social commitments beyond the classroom. Each student must set goals in 4 key areas, including: academic excellence; community and environmental care; part-time work and internships; and lastly, personal development such as sports, arts and others.
A group of 23 ACK students, who have now completed the first level of the “ACK Award”, received their Certificates of Achievement in a special ceremony held by ACK’s President, Prof. Mohamad Terro, and the Dean of the College, Dr. Gad Elbeheri.
