ACK Holds a Seminar Entitled “Kuwaiti Inventions: From Concept to Reality”

In cooperation with Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC), ACK held a seminar entitled "Kuwaiti Inventions: from Concept to Reality" to promote the culture of creativity and encourage students to be innovative and keep up to date with developments in all fields.

Dr. Mohammed Abdul Niby, Dean of School of Engineering, noted that cooperation with Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity reflected the College's plan to utilise applied models in education as well as learning theory. In this regard, the college has adopted the approaches of Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Conceive Design Implement Operate (CDIO). These methods have proven successful as students work through collective and individual projects in firstly researching and then developing strategies and procedures to create and innovate successful solutions for industry related scenarios in preparation for their future careers.
