|ACK hosted its 10th Engineering Students’ Graduation Project Exhibition at Salwa Sabah Al-Ahmad Theater and Hall in Salmiya, where students from four engineering programs - mechanical, electrical, civil and petroleum - showcased their final graduation projects.
The exhibition was developed as a platform to provide students with the opportunity to present their innovative concepts, reflecting their knowledge, competency and special technical skills acquired during their studies at the School of Engineering.
Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Niby, Dean of the School of Engineering, said that the exhibition has 47 outstanding projects conducted by 181 students this semester. “We are proud of the results achieved by our students who joined forces in teams to fulfill the projects’ requirements under the supervision and guidance of our faculty members. Our students’ projects are from different engineering departments including civil, electrical, mechanical, and petroleum specializations,” he said. “These projects are amazing and can be improved by time with the right experience. Many companies can adopt some projects and turn them into reality, which may save millions of dinars for Kuwait. Also, we are cooperating with Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity to apply for patents for some of the ideas and projects,” Abdul-Niby added."
