ACK organized a “Sports Day” for Private Schools in Kuwait

The Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) organized a “Sports Day" for Private High schools in Kuwait. Held on campus the sports day witnessed various competitions between participating high schools, including: The English School Fahaheel (ESF), The British School of Kuwait (BSK), Gulf English School (GES), American Creativity Academy (ACA), Dasman Bilingual School (DBS), American Academy for Girls (AAG) and Philippine International English School (PIES). The School teams were divided into boys and girls, and competitions included volleyball, soccer and basketball.

Games started at 10:00am, and ended with the crowning ceremony, whereby medals and trophies were delivered to winning teams. ACK students took part in refereeing the matches. The sports day was held amongst very cheering and competitive atmosphere, featuring various different activities.

On this occasion, Mr. Basel Dana, Manager of Students Life at ACK, commented: "The championship witnessed intensive attendance by the parents and friends of students, who came to cheer. Hence, we realized the objective of this event, which was helping students to enjoy sports and encouraging them to interact successfully."
