|Dr Abbas Amini has received a high recognition from two top journals in the area of nanomaterials by selecting his articles as cover pictures for these two journals. Dr Abbas Amini is currently an assistant professor at the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK), Kuwait, and Western Sydney University, Australia. After obtaining PhD from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (ranked 23th in Engineering among all universities worldwide), he conducted research with a number of Australian universities, as a postdoctoral research fellow at Monash and Deakin Universities, and as a senior scientist at the University of Melbourne.
He was also lecturing in Western Sydney University from 2014-2016. His fine outcomes have been presented in high impact factor journals, e.g., Nature publication group, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, Materials Chemistry A, Materials Today Energy, Nanoscale, etc., and a recent published book in 2016. Abbas is the editor of more than 20 reputed journals, and served as the chair/committee member of more than 200 international conferences to date. Dr. Amini has supervised numerous PhD, MSc and Postdoc students, and received the distinguish award for his BSc thesis in the country as well as distinguish research award from ACK in 2018.
